Container service of InterRail and VSK

InterRail carried out a pilot transportation of the container train from Nakhodka-Vostochnaya station to Chukursay station of Uzbek Railways. The new service was a joint project with VSK.

Container train was fully formed on the basis of rolling stock of VSK. 60 forty-feet containers arriving by sea from South-East Asia were loaded onto 38 platforms and shipped from Nakhodka-Vostochnaya station on March 29. The train arrived at Chukursay station on April 7.

In the opposite direction, 76 forty-feet containers with yarn and polyethylene transit cargo destined for recipients in South-East Asia were shipped on 9 April. The train came to the VSK terminal on April 20.

Joint service of InterRail and VSC for sending container trains will work every month on a regular basis.

Dispatch of the next train is scheduled for May.
